Review time april 2017

Seit langem mal wieder ein Review. Diesmal von der Firma Chaos Spawn Miniatures – eine kleinen Figurenschmiede aus Deutschland. Unter der Führung von  Martin Pirsch hat die Firma eine kleine aber feine Auswahl an ausgefallenen Figuren.

My first review in a time. This time I present you the little company Chaos Spawn Miniatures – a small miniature company from Germany. Martin Pirsch is bringing you a small and unique selection of great figures.

Als Review Material bekam ich die neueste Figur aus der Reihe und eine weitere Figur, die optimal zu uns Hamburger Piraten passt: Zum einen eine Orkwerferin für Fantasy-Football und einen Goblin Piraten.

The figures provided for this review are the newest figure and a figure fitting very wellt o us Pigment Pirates: An Ork-thrower fpr fantasy football and a Goblin pirate.

Beide Figuren sind aus einem Guss. Als Material kam Weißmetall zur Anwendung. Nach wie vor eines meiner Lieblingsmaterialien. Dadurch dass die Figuren aus nur einem Teil bestehen, ist die Pose etwas eingeschränkt – jedoch wirken sie auch so nicht zweidimensional oder langweilig.

Both figures are made in one part. They are made of white metal – a material I still like a lot. Due to the fact that they are made in one piece the posing is simple but not boring – the don’t look two-dimensional. 

Im direkten Größenvergleich mit dem Marktführer sind die Figuren gut proportioniert. Für einen Ork ist die Dame etwas schmächtig wenn man es im Vergleich zum Marktführer sieht – ich denke aber, dass es alles in Allem passt.

If you compare figures from the primus the figures from Chaos Spawn Miniatures are well sized. For an Ork-lady she might seem a little small comparing to the newest Ork-players – but I think she will fit in well. 

  

Als Fazit kann man nur sagen, dass es toll ist, dass auch kleine Firmen tolle Produkte haben können. Für mich ist Chaos Spawn Miniatures ein echter Geheimtipp mit einigem an Potenzial.

As a conclusion I can only say that it is great that there are small companies with great products. For me Chaos Spawn Miniatures is a real insider tip.
