Wie sagt man so schön: Mühsam nährt sich das Eichhörnchen. Und wieder ist ein kleiner Teil getan. Durch meine Erkältung kann ich mich nicht zum Malen aufraffen, um so besser ist es, dass Mantel und Lendenschurz nun fertig sind. Wie beim Vorbild von Francesco Farabi, habe ich die Akzente nicht bis ins reine Weiß gezogen. Bemalt wurde das Schwarz mit Ölfarben direkt auf einer schwarzen Untermalung - so male ich diese Farbe einfach am liebsten. Gerade trocknet die Gute bei 50 Grad im Ofen, damit das Schwarz auch schön matt wird.

How do people say: Little by little, the birds builds its nest. And again a small step is done. Handicaped because of my flu, I just painted a bit, this time the cape. As Francesco Farabi did it on the original one, I painted the highlights not in bright white. The whole fabric was painted with oils directly on a black acrylic base. That is the way I really like to paint black. In the moment the figure is drying in the oven, so that the colour is becomming matte.

  1. Wirklich toller WIP! Ich mach die Hose besonders gerne. Ich bin gespannt wie das Stuck am ende aussehen wird.
